MOUT Ranges
MOUT Ranges
Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT), Close Quarters Battles (CQB), and Fighting In Built Up Areas (FIBUA) are very different from conventional open field warfare operations. The outstanding difference to most other battlefield scenarios is that a possible enemy can appear almost everywhere at any time. Within splits of seconds the soldier has to identify friend and foe. The ones involved face considerable stress and need special training avoiding the routine of predictable scenarios. Being prepared for these unique conditions is a vital issue for the modern armed forces.
TTS offers training equipment specially designed to meet the following requirements:
- Light weight and compact target mechanisms to allow mounting in limited space
- Swiftly repositionable target mechanisms to avoid training routine
- Multiple target movements to allow variable enemy animation
Products of TTS suited for this scenario include:
-
Infantry LOMAH (Location Of Miss And Hit)
- Most infantry target systems can be equipped with the patented "Location Of Miss And HIT" system.
