The Thermal Image Simulator (TIS), or Thermal Target Heating System, is a simple to use, all weather heating system capable of heating any type of vehicle, tank or infantry target. It provides a remotely controllable thermal picture, which can be clearly seen by a thermal image night vision appliance of any weapon system.

The thermal image is created by a heating foil, which is fixed to the respective target silhouette. Thermal foil is used to create a thermal image target silhouette from any (non metal) target board. This keeps costs for consumables low and customers flexible.

At a glance:

  • Trains troops with infrared night visors
  • Creates any shape desired
  • Low-costs consumables
  • Environmentally friendly consumables

The Thermal Image Simulator (TIS) is also referred to as Thermal Target Heating System (TTHS).
