Moving Armor Target - Medium

With its strong lifting mechanism and its modifiable target brackets the mechanism can move frontal tank silhouettes, half-scaled flank targets, tank turrets and APCs. Also it can be outfitted with a rigid vehicle silhouette and an advanced SIT in pop-up mode representing the driver.

Due to the unique rail system TTS’s Rail MATs are not subsceptical to wind and can operate at wind speeds up to 30 kph. Also, the Theissen rail allows high speeds. The outstanding benefit is the fact that the target cannot capsize- that makes the product safe and reduces maintenance costs caused by overturning target trolleys.

The Medium MAT is a good choice for customers who want to install an easily convertible combined arms training facility. The trolley of this MAT can be modified in various ways and can be equipped with various simulators. This version is typically used outdoors on multifunctional shooting ranges or deployable range kits.

  Several add-ons and accessories are available for TTS target mechanisms to increase training realism and stress.
  

  Enemy fire simulators and hit indicators are added to the target appliances and are used to give a more realistic training environment. The simulators make use of standard pyrotechnic ammunition or are non -pyrotechnic simulators, increasing the safety of the range personnel while reducing the life cycle costs. As more and more modern weapon systems are equipped with infrared night visors, all our target appliances can be equipped with thermal target heating systems, which provide a thermal image on the target that can be clearly identified.

  This TTS Target appliance offers various movements and/or speeds to ensure diversified training scenarios and to avoid familiarization effects. For a highly flexible range layout on shooting ranges most TTS target equipment is designed in a way that its location can be altered without the need of infrastructure adaptations. If required our Equipment will be delivered meeting these requirements:

  All TTS equiptment comes with adjustable piezo hit sensors to evaluate firing results, but today's state-of the-art technology employs automatic marking and scoring systems, mostly called LOMAH (Location Of Miss And Hit) Systems. Our own LOMAH System allows the correct detection/ location of a hit on the target and is  even able to detect the exact location of near misses without the need of special target material.  This results in a  highly efficient training workflow, and in combination with a TACF of a RCU an instand after action review. And this finally reduces requirements for ammuntion, consumables, time and money.

  Target illumination cannot only replace often prohibited pyrotechnical devices like illumination lights (varying lights), but can be used as a hit indicator also. Illumination lenses can be supplied in different colors.

  TTS's Solution to safe and optimized operation of moving targets is the Daimond-Rail. It guarantees continuous use / conveyance / exercise even if one wheel is damaged. The shape allows counter wheels to take hold of the rail and makes it impossible to capsize a trolley. Diamond shaped rails manufactured from high grade stainless or galvanized steel galvanized iron are providing enough surface for the 8 wheels to carry a target trolley. Standard delivery includes mounting spikes. Color-coding makes installation quick and easy.

  The dependable TTS Piezo Hit Indication has a reliability of hit recording better than 98% for almost all calibers. Hits are reported back to the controller. To obtain perfect results the sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted remotely by the controller. In the recordable range is live fire ammunition as well as paint ball ammunition.
