Moving Infantry Target - MOUT
This Moving Infantry Target Mechanism (MIT) displays infantry targets and offers high performance, low maintenance cost and agile movement. Various speed and movement of the mechanism ensure diversified training scenarios. Representing moving threads, the MIT vigorously lifts target silhouettes up to 5 kg and moves with speeds up to 30 kph.
Typically, it is used on small arms firing ranges, MOUT ranges, and marksmanship training ranges.

Features
General Features
Mounted permanently behind a suitable protection wall or in a concrete target ditch, the Basic MIT is typically used out- and indoor on basic rifle and pistol training ranges. The Basic MIT vigorously lifts targets up to 5 kg and moves it with up to 20 kph.

Realistic Training Environment
TTS products increase training realism and stress.Several add-ons and accessories are available for TTS target mechanisms to increase training realism and stress.
Enemy fire simulators and hit indicators are added to the target appliances and are used to give a more realistic training environment. The simulators make use of standard pyrotechnic ammunition or are non -pyrotechnic simulators, increasing the safety of the range personnel while reducing the life cycle costs. As more and more modern weapon systems are equipped with infrared night visors, all our target appliances can be equipped with thermal target heating systems, which provide a thermal image on the target that can be clearly identified.

TTS Target appliances allow diversified training scenarios.This TTS Target appliance offers various movements and/or speeds to ensure diversified training scenarios and to avoid familiarization effects. For a highly flexible range layout on shooting ranges most TTS target equipment is designed in a way that its location can be altered without the need of infrastructure adaptations. If required our Equipment will be delivered meeting these requirements:

The target raises out of a cover and lowers.This conventional mode allows the presentation of a target raising out of a cover and lowering to hide behind a drawback.

Friend & Foe Mode
Alternative presentation of a friend or a foe target is possible.This mode allows the alternative presentation of a friend or a foe target; the targets' side view represents the neutral position since the target board appears to be invisible. Typical applications are pistol shooting and special forces training.

Shearing or Scissors Mode
The silhouette can be sheared to the left or to the rightThis mode allows the presentation of a target spying around a corner. It can be used instead of the lifting mode when not enough space is available.

Components of this MIT are designed to allow installation by four persons at most and can be easily maintained by two people.

The MIT, equipped with the THEISSEN-Cube©, lifts marksmanship training targets and animates moving infantry target silhouettes. Electro gear and electronics of the target mechanism are well protected for reliable and long life operation. The unique, stabile rail system allows high speeds and yet safe operation even in tough weather conditions.

TTS's solution to safe and optimized operation of moving targets is the Diamond-Rail.TTS's Solution to safe and optimized operation of moving targets is the Daimond-Rail. It guarantees continuous use / conveyance / exercise even if one wheel is damaged. The shape allows counter wheels to take hold of the rail and makes it impossible to capsize a trolley. Diamond shaped rails manufactured from high grade stainless or galvanized steel galvanized iron are providing enough surface for the 8 wheels to carry a target trolley. Standard delivery includes mounting spikes. Color-coding makes installation quick and easy.

Target Controller
Most target mechanisms are supplied with a lightweight Target Controller.The controller's housing is made from powder coated, high-grade aluminum. To avoid internal corrosion and to maintain a consistent and optimal performance under all environmental conditions, from equator to the poles, the housing is sealed with a premium sealant. The configurable settings are addressing the complexity of military training and allows a variety of custom operating settings:
- Number of hits to drop the target
- Display time, for which the target shall be shown
- Delay time, after which the target will be raised again automatically
- Sensitivity of hit sensor
- Target illumination (optional)
- Brightness of the illumination (optional)
- Target heating system (optional)

Infantry target mechanisms are supplied with this ruggedized target fastener.To avoid heavy weight this arm is made from high-grade cast alloy and to make it wear resistant it is supported with stainless steel inlays.
The lightweight aluminum target fastener is stainless steel reinforced and powder coated. Little weight allows swift movements, reinforcement prevents creep fatigue and powder coating ensures weather resistance.
The target fastener accepts most standard target silhouettes.

TTS Target equipment is supplied with a remotely adjustable Piezo Hit Indication.The dependable TTS Piezo Hit Indication has a reliability of hit recording better than 98% for almost all calibers. Hits are reported back to the controller. To obtain perfect results the sensitivity of the sensor can be adjusted remotely by the controller. In the recordable range is live fire ammunition as well as paint ball ammunition.

TTS uses only 100% scoop proof, military grade connectors.TTS uses only 100% scoop proof, hermetic connectors made from high strength aluminum shells and qualified to specifications MIL-DTL-38999, EN 3645 and JN 1034. The olive drab cadmium over nickel shell plating provides even salt spray corrosion protection. The threaded coupling with self-locking ensures anti-vibration integrity.
