Sound Effects Simulator (SES)
The Sound
Effects Simulator (SES) realistically creates the acoustical impression of a battlefield. The SES is designed to play pre-recorded sound files of more than 100
different sounds for more than one hour. Sound files can be stored and/or
modified utilizing a standard computer equipped with a Compact Flash Card
(CFC).
The CFC comes pre-recorded upon shipment, installed inside a water and
dust proof electronic unit. The operational panel consists of a 4x20 characters
display with 4 keys for progressing through the menus. Any user desired sound
can be implemented by the vendor or the by the user himself, also live through a microphone. As with the
EFS/VHI, the SES can be remotely controlled through the TACF/RCU.
